Mustang: Drag Radial Mod Motor Details
The 'Bridge Racing' Mustang was purchased in 2002 as a stock vehicle. Between 2002 and 2005 the Mustang was stripped down to it's Boxers and the transformation began. Basically 95% of the car was custom built/Fabricated at 'Bridge Racing' including the engine which is a 4.6L Ford Mod Motor. Just a short list of what was conducted at Bridge Racing- - Turbo System, Oil Pan, Fuel Cell, Oil/Water Tanks, Intercooler's Ice/Water Tank, Ford Mod Motor, Distributor Drive System, Radiator & Mounting/Plumbing, Pass. Seat, Gauge Cluster, Exhaust Components, MoTec M800 ECU Wiring, Custom Engine Plates, Well, I could go on for several pages but you get the idea. After a lot of Blood, Sweat and wondering if it was all going to fall into place the Engine & Wiring were finished off at Bridge Racing around June 2005. When all was said and done the car was track ready in September 2005. (Full debut write up is in the Bridge Racing Online Forum).
