Ford Racing/Bridge Racing 5.4L DOHC GT Intake Manifold
What we are starting with can be purchased from Ford Racing under part # M-9424-GTK The configuration that we built below is for a turbo radial car, The design of the M-9424-GTK gives you the freedom to configure it anyway you like. You can have the throttle body/elbow on the top facing forward/backward or to the side or you can machine the rear of the intake as we have for a rear facing throttle body and still use your factory hood. For most applications you can use the Factory Ford GT injectors so you will not have to weld/machine the intake for inserts as we have done with this intake. We used inserts on this intake because we are using a different body size injector and we also wanted to change the spray angle. Below gives you an idea on what can be done with the M-9424-GTK Ford GT Manifold Kit Due to the fact that we have spent hours working the runner/plenum area of this intake we are unable to post photo's of the finished product as some things must remain in house.
