NMCA Sunday came around..... Dad ran another PB with an 8.15 at only 170 mph.... He had Kolivas (Greathouse) in the other lane running there first 6 second Outlaw Drag Radial pass (Congrats).
Dad has done an amazing job and I couldn't be more proud! More seat time and time playing around with the tune up and he will be a force.... especially with .020 lights

Wow, it's already February 2010. I am still in Australia with hopes to be back in a couple of months.

I am going to miss the first few races but with a bit of luck Dad will get our hot rod back together and hit some races.

With some minor updates Sonny & Steven's should be back together next week then straight in to some testing for the NMRA opener down in Florida (March 4th - 8th).
With a clean run it should be in the 7.8x-7.9x range in NMRA trim.

Chris Burleson's Red turbo ride should be back together and making the trek to Florida to run in Super Street Outlaw.
Man I sure can't wait to get back over there!!!!!!

Tim Oswalt got the 120 lbs injectors in and it is no longer a stick shift.
She now has an Automatic installed (TH400).

He made it back to the dyno and made 966 RWHP @ 26 psi.
We are happy with that considering the Automatic and still runs the Factory Ford ECU

NMRA Florida: Dad made the trip down to Florida with Biggs.
Steven went a 8.02 @ 179 mph the last test & toast hit.
First qualify went 8.08 @ 177 mph which after the first session is good for #2. Tune up was set up soft to get a good first hit so now they got a couple hits to get a little more aggressive

The guys are at the track tonight changing out converters. The car has been slowing down each pass and everything else checks out great.
Problem is they will go in to first round eliminations with a different converter and different conditions.... we will see what happens.

Congrats to Steven for making the Semi-Finals.

The converter swap didn't seem to make a change as every pass the car went slower and slower. The only other thing left is the transmission.

She is making some power that's for sure.... 143 mph in the eighth with the 4788

Congrats Sonny, Steven & Dad on the Outlaw Allstars Radial win up in St. Louis.
Even though it was a 'run any tire' race they left the 325 BFG's on and took the win with an 8.06.

Not to mention they qualified #2 last weekend up at Milan, Michigan for the NMRA event. Ended up runner-up there running 8.0's all day.

Both events they were running the Precision GT4788 Turbo .
